Harbour Results, Inc. (HRI), Southfield, MI, an advisor to the manufacturing industry, announced plans to expand its team with the hiring of a new consultant, Joseph Chebby. He joins HRI as an associate consultant, with extensive experience in data analytics, implementing Lean Six Sigma improvement tools and working with industrial statistics. In his role, Chebby will work with manufacturing companies to develop market insights, conduct benchmarking and drive improvement in client business and manufacturing operations. Additionally, Chebby will support the HRI team in organizing, planning and directing activities for Harbour IQTM, a business-intelligence tool.

Mazak Optonics Corp., Elgin, IL, supplier of laser-cutting systems, announced that Al Bohlen has been promoted to president of North American operations. He had been vice president and general manager since 2013.

Global Shop Solutions, The Woodlands, TX, a developer of enterprise resource-planning software, has named Nick Knight senior director of customer services. He previously served as a member of the company’s service team, as consulting project manager and most recently as director of consulting.

Tebis America, Troy, MI, has announced the appointment of two new product and applications specialists, Mike Mazloum and Antonio Sieza, to service the Canadian market and, in particular, Ontario. The software company specializes in CAD/CAM systems for design and manufacturing, servicing the tool, die, mold, aerospace and automotive manufacturing industries.

P&G Metal Components, Bloomfield, CT, has hired Karl Weinsteiger as director of engineering. The company, with inhouse stamping, finishing and shot-peen capabilities, supplies metal stampings and reed valves for the automotive, compressor and valve industries.
