President
Todd Wenzel is president of TCR Inc., Nekoosa, WI. He has been a technical speaker for the Precision Metalforming Association for more than 20 years, including holding one to two seminars a year to support and help train companies in the stamping industry. Todd also is a frequent contributing writer for MetalForming magazine, and speaker on MetalForming's webcasts covering a variety of technical topics. His decades of experience with specifying and installing a wide range of turnkey production systems has provided a wealth of practical experience that Todd gladly shares with his audiences to help them become even more competitive stampers. TCR provides consulting, service, equipment and complete turnkey installations of all types of stamping applications, as well as mechanical and electrical repair and refurbishment capabilities for presses, coil lines and other manufacturing equipment. Its 50,000-sq.-ft. plant in Central WI houses its heavy machining and fabrication departments, assembly and repair bays, and its engineering lab space for reverse engineering services, the creation of new equipment and custom automation solutions to support the stamping industry. TCR is in the upper Midwest, but growth has expanded its reach, and it now provides its services and equipment all over the United States and nine other countries. Its systems have been used to produce microscopic medical components, large stampings weighing more than 250 lbs. for the heavy-truck and earth-moving equipment industries, and every size part in between.
