AMT—The Association for Manufacturing Technology, McLean, VA, appointed Tim Shinbara vice president of manufacturing technology. His predecessor, Paul Warndorf, assumes the role of vice president of strategic planning.

Five service technicians at resistance-welding equipment manufacturer T.J. Snow Co., Chattanooga, TN, have become among the first to receive the Certified Resistance Welding Technician designation offered by the American Welding Society.

ERP-software developer ECI Software Solutions, Fort Worth, TX, appointed Mary Mentzer professional services manager for its M1 manufacturing-software division.

Camfil Air Pollution Control (APC), Jonesboro, AR, a manufacturer of fume- and mist-collection equipment, promoted Thomas Frungillo to vice president, Camfil APC Americas. He’ll oversee the firm’s manufacturing facility and sales operations in North and South America.

SigmaTek Systems LLC, Cincinnati, OH, a provider of CAD/CAM nesting and NC-programming software, appointed Dan Jacobs vice president of sales.
