Metal stamper and fabricator Proos Manufacturing, Grand Rapids, MI, announced that CEO Amy Proos has been named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 in Michigan and Northwest Ohio. The award recognizes outstanding high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and success in innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their business and community. Proos is the third-generation, and first woman, CEO and owner of the 94-yr.-old company.

Custom rollformer OMCO, Wickliffe, OH, announced that its president and CEO Gary Shuster has been named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 in Northeast Ohio. Schuster joined the firm in 2006, and since that time it has enjoyed a sales increase of 816 percent while adding two new facilities and 800 additional employees.

Die-component manufacturer Anchor Lamina America, Inc., a Misumi Group company, named Michael Purchase president, and Ted Phillips director of business development. The firm also promoted Donald L. Hahn, components technology manager for its Lamina Hydraulics line, to senior engineering manager.
