Prima North America, Chicopee, MA, a manufacturer of lasers and laser systems, promoted Carl Bryant to sales and marketing manager for Prima 3D laser systems and to the newly created position of automotive market manager for North America. He previously served as North American sales manager for the company’s Laserdyne Systems group.

Max Baauw has joined Michigan Roll Form, Inc., Fraser, MI, as sales manager —Tru-Tech Products. Baauw had been president of Tru-Tech Tool and Machine Co., a manufacturer of rollforming equipment. Michigan Roll Form recently obtained the rights to the Tru-Tech brand name, along with engineering drawings, sales records and inventory items.

Robotic-workcell systems integrator Genesis Systems Group, Davenport, IA, appointed Chuck Keibler executive vice president—business development. Included is responsibility for administering the company’s domestic partner relationships with suppliers, OEMs and distributors.

North South Machinery, Brea, CA, named Bob Stewart vice president of fabrication. The distributor is MC Machinery Systems’ west coast dealer, selling EDM, laser- and waterjet-cutting machines, and press brakes.

Olympic Steel, Cleveland, OH, promoted Dan Springer to general manager for its Iowa division. He previously served the company as operations manager for its facility in Winder, GA. Olympic Steel processes and distributes coil and plate steel products.

Serec Corp., North Kingstown, RI, named Jim Fredericks national sales manager. The firm manufactures industrial parts-cleaning machines.
