Tempel Steel Co., Chicago, IL, a supplier of magnetic steel laminations for the electronic and electrical industries, named Timothy Taylor president and COO. The company has operations in the United States, Mexico, Canada, China and India.

C&G Systems, Itasca, IL, a manufacturer of CNC plasma-arc and oxyfuel shape-cutting machines, named Troy Anaya director of sales and marketing.

Bystronic Inc., Hauppauge, NY, a manufacturer press brakes, laser- and waterjet-cutting machines and system software, hired Darren McCarthy as sales engineer for NC, SC and VA.

Vision-sensor manufacturer LMI Technologies, Inc., Delta, British Columbia, Canada, appointed Terry Arden chief executive officer. He replaces Len Metcalfe, the company’s founder, who remains as chairman of the board.
