Troy Roberts
Troy Roberts has been named president and managing director of the Western Hemisphere portion of Aida’s global organization. Roberts will perform the scope of his national and international duties from Aida’s North American headquarters location, Aida-America, Dayton, OH, and from Aida-Europe headquarters, Aida S.r.l. Italy—Lecco.

Robert J. Hosa joined T.J. Snow Co., Chattanooga, TN, as district sales manager, selling resistance-welding machinery throughout the Midwest from his base in Columbus, OH.

Thomas Peter has taken over as managing director of Dieffenbacher System-Automation GmbH, Eppingen, Germany.

Peter Ulintz, Anchor Manufacturing Group, Cleveland, OH (and MetalForming magazine columnist), has been elected secretary of the North American Deep Drawing Research Group (NADDRG). The group promotes sheetmetal-forming research into materials, tool-and-die design, lubrication, testing and fabrication.

Stainless Sales Corp., Chicago, IL, named Selena Hill-Carli sales representative in Carollton, KY. She’ll serve the states of Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

The Schuler Group appointed Tim McCaughey, president and CEO of Schuler Inc., Canton, MI, to the management board of BCN Technical Services, Hastings, MI. The firm also appointed Paul Nicholson, formerly president of BCN, to the management boards of Schuler Inc. and BCN Technical Services. Nicholson also holds the position of director of international service for the Schuler Group. Succeeding Nicholson as president of BCN is Dan Savage. BCN Technical Services maintains and repairs Bliss, Clearing, Niagara, USI, Toledo, Consolidated Press and Wilkins & Mitchell brand presses.

The American Welding Society (AWS), Miami, FL, appointed Connie Bowling director of the AWS Foundation’s Solutions Opportunity Squad (SOS) Gulf Coast Division. The SOS Squad works within the AWS Welder Workforce Development Program to contend with the growing shortage of skilled welders in the United States.

Formtek Metal Forming, Inc., Cleveland, OH, welcomed back Darren Muchnicki as president, after serving as vice president of operations for American Roll Forming Products Corp. Formtek provides tooling and equipment for the rollforming industry.
