Bystronic, a Switzerland-based provider of applications-oriented systems and solutions for laser cutting, bending and automation, with U.S. operations in Elgin, IL, has appointed Richard Chesnut as West Coast regional manager, encompassing the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

Barton International, a Glens Falls, NY-based supplier of garnet abrasives for waterjet cutting and surface preparation, announced the appointment of David Chandler as regional sales manager for the Southeast territory. Chandler will work with customers in the waterjet-cutting and surface-preparation industries in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. He brings to the position more than 15 years of progressive sales experience, including extensive knowledge of the steel fabrication and paper industries.

Tooling Tech Group, Fort Loramie, OH, has announced Kelly Connors as the company’s corporate sales executive, a new position at Tooling Tech. With 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, his responsibilities include positioning the company as a one-stop solution for its customers’ tooling needs.

Lightweight Innovations For Tomorrow (LIFT), a U.S. Department of Defense sponsored national manufacturing innovation institute, announced that it has hired Peter Czech as director of government programs. Czech joins LIFT after spending more than nine years as a professor at the Defense Acquisition University Defense Systems Management College.

Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc, Cleveland, OH, announced Michele R. Kuhrt as executive vice president, chief human resources officer. Kuhrt’s responsibilities include leading the global human resources team, with an emphasis on employee engagement and development, diversity and inclusion, and enhancing HR systems and processes.

BLM Group USA, a Novi, MI-based provider of tube and flat sheet processing solutions, announced the appointment of Danyel (Dan) Benoit as regional sales manager, Eastern Canada: Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Nova Scotia. Benoit has more than 28 years of machine tool sales experience and codeveloped a laser-based inspection system.

Tooling Tech Group (TTG), a Macomb, MI-based provider of engineered tools and assembly equipment, has named Lee Childers CEO. Childers joined TTG as COO in early 2018, bringing 33 years’ experience in developing business plans, growth strategies and leading operations for Tier One suppliers. The company also hired Todd Wodzinski as the its chief commercial officer. Wodzinski will be sales team management, market planning and business development.

Fabricated Products Group, a Chicago, IL-based custom fabricator and machine job shop, has announced its new leadership team: Dan Shields as president; Russell Enzenbacher as senior manufacturing engineer; and Mark Worrell as senior project manager.

SEYI America, Inc., a press manufacturer with operations in Tullahoma, TN, and Irvine, CA, has announced the appointment of Bernardo Serna as sales manager for Seyi Mexico in Monterrey.

Aida-America, a Dayton, OH-based metal stamping press manufacturer, has announced these promotions: Bob Southwell, from vice president of sales and marketing to executive vice president, Al Wichner, from supply chain coordinator to purchasing group leader; and Ben Shepherd, from senior mechanical engineer to mechanical engineering group leader.
