September 30, 2020Comments
Stamping-press manufacturer Aida-America, Dayton, OH, congratulates full-service metal forming company Clips & Clamps Industries, Plymouth, MI, on the installation of its first servo press. The company recently expanded its capacity with the addition of an Aida 300-ton unitized-frame direct-drive servo press, model DSF-N2-3000. Leveraging the capabilities of its new press, Clips &Clamps reports that it already has increased production by 30 percent on a 5-mm-thick stainless-steel spacer part when compared to stamping the part on a conventional mechanical press. Additionally, Clips & Clamps reports extended tool life for this progressive die and greatly reduced forward and reverse tonnage.
