Beckwood Press Co., Fenton, MO, a manufacturer of custom hydraulic presses, automation systems and the Triform line of sheet-hydroforming presses, showcases its newest press technologies. This year’s booth theme, “Work Smarter, Not Harder,” showcases Beckwood’s ability to solve difficult manufacturing challenges. On hand are members of the Beckwood Solutions Team, who have more than 100 years of combined experience in forming materials for a variety of industries, and can provide visitors with new ideas and recommendations to make their operations more efficient and productive.
The booth also features fluid-cell and deep-draw sheet-hydroforming demonstrations using a Triform model 610-20-3SC. Triform hydroforming presses can form complex geometries that would be nearly impossible using traditional male/female tooling, according to Beckwood officials. Demonstrations show how hydroforming technology can help reduce manufacturing costs and improve overall part quality.
