Bruderer to Build New UK Factory and Showroom

High-speed press manufacturer Bruderer has
announced plans to open a new 48,000-sq.-ft. factory and showroom in Telford,
UK, in 2024. Construction work on the bespoke facility began in October. The
facility will be capable of servicing new and used machines, restoring legacy
presses, and will feature a modern showroom displaying new press models as well
as ancillary equipment and turnkey solutions. Bruderer plans to relocate its
existing facility from Luton over the next nine mo., creating four new jobs and
an apprenticeship program.
Explains Adrian Haller, managing director of Bruderer UK: “The UK was the first subsidiary outside of our Switzerland home some 55 yr. ago, and we still remain a strong base for Bruderer presses, with seven domestic companies investing in new machines in the last nine months alone.
“Customers will benefit significantly from this investment,” he continues. “For the first time they will have a state-of-the-art demonstration center to explore our latest high-speed presses and even set up tooling projects to prove-out the effectiveness of the machines. We also have lots of training space, so can have staff from our clients onsite to show them how to get the most out of their high-speed stamping machines.”
