Piab will show its polyurethane Duraflex friction cups designed to grip oily and wet surfaces. The grip pattern enables operators to safely and reliably move slippery metal goods in automotive and white-goods plants, thereby reducing product drops while lowering scrap rates and without slowing production lines. The cups feature a rough cleat surface and sharp cleat edges and channels, resulting in greater friction and a strong hold that is maintained on heavy and slippery sheets during acceleration and deceleration, including emergency stoppages. The cups also maintain their elastic memory and original shape for an expanded life cycle.
