Low-Profile Safety Light Curtains Boast Integral Muting

Banner Engineering Corp., Minneapolis, MN, introduces the EZ-Screen LP low-profile safety light curtain, with integral muting. The Type 4 light curtain is designed for use on small production machines in compact spaces, while also being robust enough for large power presses. Integral muting in seven different, predefined muting configuration options provides increased mounting flexibility, and the design allows for installation within the machine frame to eliminate any holes or dead zones in the sensing field. In addition, says the company, the unit consumes less traditional safety light curtains. Sensing range spans 4 in. to 23 ft.
