Eliminates Static Electricity to Eliminate Shocks and Dust

The new Gen4 Super Ion Air Wipe from Exair Corp. provides a uniform 360-deg. ionized airstream that clamps around a continuously moving part to eliminate static electricity and contaminants. It is ideal for eliminating dust, particulates and personnel shocks on pipe, cable, extruded shapes, hose, wire and more. Certified to meet U.S., Canadian and European safety, health and environmental standards and attain CE and UL marks, it also is RoHS-compliant. New design features include a metal, armored high-voltage cable to protect against abrasion and cuts, a replaceable emitter point, integrated ground connection and electromagnetic shielding.

The Super Ion Air Wipe, with no moving parts, uses a small amount of compressed air to entrain high volumes of room air. Two shockless ionizing points powered by a 5-kV power supply fill the airstream with static-eliminating ions. That airflow attaches itself to the surface of the material running through the air wipe and neutralizes the charge.

The Super Ion Air Wipe, which complements Exair’s line of Gen4 Static Eliminators, features a lightweight aluminum construction for simple mounting via the provided tapped holes, and comes in diameters of 2 and 4 in.
