Die-Cover Film Eliminates Die Marks
October 1, 2008Comments
A brochure from Lempco presents Formathane die-cover film, which allows stampers to form decorative and prepainted materials without die marks, while using their existing dies. The film—0.020 or 0.031 in. thick—acts as a buffer between the edges of the die and the workpiece being formed. It comes on rolls 4 to 36 in. wide, 50 or 100 ft. long.
Formathane also is available in sheets, bars, rods, springs and strippers.
