Keyence introduces its latest metrology tool, the WM-6000, a portable, wide-area coordinate-measuring machine (CMM) that allows precise 3D/GD&T measurement and 3D scanning on parts and assemblies to 82 ft. The WM-6000 is designed to enable fabricators to perform dimensional inspection, contour checks, CAD comparisons and reverse engineering quickly and easily, and directly on the shop floor. This improves throughput while reducing scrap and rework.

The WM series of CMMs is intended to ensure that fabricated parts meet their tolerance requirements throughout production. Its compatibility with software such as Polyworks enhances data analysis and reporting for maintaining quality standards.
