The LAS 200.1 laser fume extractor, the latest member of ULT AG’s new-product-generation ULT 200.1, is a compact, mobile system offering a new filtration concept that significantly increases pollutant-separation efficiency, according to ULT AG officials.

A newly designed pre-filter package, including filter mat and panel filter, delivers a longer filter life than previous models, resulting in long-term cost savings. The H14 HEPA main filter is offered in combination with an adsorption filter, increasing the main filter’s separation rate to >99.995 percent. A modular unit, the extractor can be equipped with additional filter modules if needed. And, the LAS 200.1 can be combined with various capturing elements, such as extraction arms or hoses and tubes, enabling pollutant removal at as many as four individual workplaces.

The company‘s ecoflow CS technology increases and reduces the system’s exhaust performance automatically, depending on the number of extraction points, and automatically compensates for pressure losses caused by loaded filters. Also, an integrated M12 interface allows communication with a laser-processing system, providing the ability to run the fume extractor as the laser operates.
