Ci Metal Fabrication Adds Six Employees

Ci Metal Fabrication, a custom industrial metal fabricator located in Meridian, MS, has hired six experienced employees as the company takes on an abundance of projects.

Trevor Bunyard, Andrew Driver, Frank Davidson, Chris Winstead and Jack Weir are all fitters/welders responsible for positioning, aligning and welding structural metal products in the shop. Taniko Kidd is a laborer responsible for assisting various shop workers with day-to-day tasks. All six employees bring a combined 75 years of experience to the company.

Moeller, Metal Working Supply Open TN Service Center

Moeller Precision Tool & Metal Working Supply have announced the opening of an advanced manufacturing service center located in metropolitan Nashville, TN. With more than 30,000 sq. ft. of production floor space and an array of factory-new, state-of-the-art CNC equipment, the center will provide punches, die buttons, retainers, nitrogen-gas springs, mechanical die springs, guideposts and other precision die components.

Miller and Hobart to Host Welding, Heating Tech. Conference

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, September 16, as Miller Electric Mfg. Co. and Hobart, in conjunction with E.H. Wachs, host the third annual Welding and Heating Technology Conference in Houston. The free event will feature educational seminars with keynote speakers, panel and roundtable discussions, live demonstrations, and networking opportunities aimed at discovering ways to stay competitive, maximize profitability and improve operational efficiencies in welding and heating operations.

The one-day conference will be held at the ITW Welding Technology Center in Houston. Those encouraged to attend include pipe fabricators, general fabricators, general or mechanical contractors, manufacturers, maintenance and repair operators, welding and gas distributors, educators, students and those in supply and rental.

Following the day’s activities, the event will conclude with a Miller-hosted American Welding Society Houston Chapter dinner and presentation featuring guest speaker Marcus Luttrell, a former Navy Seal and author of a New York Times best-selling book, “Lone Survivor.” Cost for this dinner is $25.
