Ataco Steel Products Names Steger VP of Operations

Ataco Steel Products Corp., Cedarburg, WI, has named John Steger VP of operations. He brings nearly 30 yr. of leadership in multi-plant metal-service organizations to the role, along with a record of advancing growth and lean-manufacturing excellence. In his new role, Steger will oversee the company’s laser cutting, stamping, welding, CNC machining and assembly operations.

Before joining Ataco, Steger was VP at Pro-Smoker & PS Seasonings, where he spearheaded process-improvement, cross-training and 5S initiatives while guiding the company through a period of rapid expansion. Earlier, he spent 27 yr. at Kapco Inc., progressing to VP of manufacturing and helping to scale the business dramatically.

Steger holds an Industrial-Engineering credential from Brookhaven Community College and an associate’s degree in Supervisory Management from Moraine Park Technical College.
