NIMS Introduces CAM Skills Standards

The National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) has released the first-ever industry computer aided manufacturing (CAM), defining the competencies and skills expected by industry for entry-level CAM positions. Developed under the guidance of Autodesk Inc., the standards will enhance education and training programs to meet demands for skilled CAM programmers, designers and engineers. Mitutoyo America Opens Demo Center in NC

Mitutoyo America Corp. has opened its relocated M3 Solution Center in Huntersville, NC, a 7700-sq.-ft. facility available for customers to schedule appointments for product demonstrations, obtain assistance with application challenges and metrology solutions, and attend product and educational training seminars.
