The Wagner Companies, a manufacturer and global supplier of architectural railing systems and custom metal products for industrial applications, announced the hiring of Michael Dover as the company’s new president. Dover, assumes the position previously held by Rick Kettler, who retired after an 18-year career with the company and a nine-year tenure as president. Bob Wagner remains in the role of chief executive officer (CEO).

Dover brings 26 years of manufacturing, sales and marketing experience to the company. For the last 10 years, he served as president of Scan-Pac Manufacturing, a producer of industrial friction products targeting the drilling, mining, agricultural and transportation industries. Previously he worked at Precision Industries Corporation, where he served in various leadership and management positions for more than a decade. He has developed, implemented and maintained innovative procedures to drive company growth, aid the supply-chain, and identify strategies for sustained improvement.
