Manufacturing Job Openings Decline Slightly
Data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics report 583,000 manufacturing job openings in February, down slightly from 596,000 in January. Open positions in durable goods manufacturing rose to 361,000 in February, up from 348,000 in January, while job openings in nondurable goods manufacturing fell to 221,000 in February compared to January’s number of 248,000.
