Solar Atmospheres Adds Tensile Testing

Solar Atmospheres, Hermitage, PA, announced that it has added tensile testing to its repertoire of mechanical testing. The tensile tests are essential in determining and understanding material strength. Many aerospace specifications demand at least one tensile test to be performed on each heat lot of material and/or for every furnace load of components being heattreated.
