Hess Industries, Niles, MI, a manufacturer of metalforming machines, cells and integrated systems, has collaborated with Turkish manufacturer Repkon to form Metal Smart. The new venture will combine the R & D, prototyping and support capabilities of the two companies to offer customers a broader range of technology options. Repkon manufactures advanced metalforming equipment, with an emphasis on flowforming, shear forming and hot spinning.
