MJC Engineering & Technology, Inc., Huntington Brach, CA, a manufacturer of CNC flow forming and metal spinning equipment, has announced a strategic leadership-transition plan that, by year-end, will welcome Jose Machuca as the firm’s new president, succeeding current president and founder Carl Lorentzen. Also, Kai Fredlov becomes the new vice president and head of engineering, taking over from current vice president Per Carlson. The official transition is slated to take effect at the start of January 2025.

Lorentzen, who founded the company in 1994, will remain on its board and assume the position of director of sales.  Carlson, who has been part of MJC since the company’s inception, will assume the title of director of engineering.
