Hydroforming Press Heading to U.S. Metal Former

Siempelkamp Group reports that a U.S.-based company recently visited its headquarters in Krefeld, Germany, to conduct a factory-acceptance test for its second tube-hydroforming press, ordered in 2022. The customer reportedly is a leading supplier of flow-control products for a variety of applications. It plans to commission the press later this year.
During the trial, tests were successfully completed under real production conditions on tools brought by the customer. As a result, the press will be dismantled into larger functional assemblies and reassembled in the United States.
