Design Your Next Press
October 1, 2017Comments
Beckwood Press will introduce its Launch virtual-press design platform. The offering uses real-time data to generate concept drawings onsite. Visitors can work with Beckwood’s solutions team at the Launch simulator to input variables such as bed size, tonnage, speed and heat parameters, in order to bring their ideas to life on the show floor.
The company also will feature fluid-cell and deep-draw-sheet hydroforming demonstrations using a Triform model 610-20-3SC. Sheet hydroforming presses use a single, unmated tool and a pressurized rubber diaphragm to form parts with smooth, uniform, scratch-free surfaces that typically require no additional finishing. The presses are for low-volume, high-mix part production.
