Robotic-Safety Partnership Grows in Numbers

CommentsThe Robotic Industries Association (RIA), Ann Arbor, MI, announced that six companies have joined its Partnership for Collaborative Safety, in time for RIA’s National Robot Safety Conference, which was held September 27-29 in Indianapolis, IN. Joining the partnership’s initial member company, PIAB Vacuum Products, are Denso Robotics, Frommelt Safety Products, IPR Robotics, Omron STI and Pilz Automation Safety.

The National Robot Safety Conference featured the first public release of the new Robot Safety Standard Draft, R15.06 (2011).
