New Jersey Stamper Wins OSHA Sharp Award

HK Metalcraft, Lodi, NJ, received the OSHA SHARP (Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program) award on May 7. The award recognizes small employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. Upon receiving SHARP recognition, a worksite is exempt from programmed inspections during the period that the SHARP certification is valid.

HK Metalcraft manufactures precision metal stampings, spring washers, formed products and related assemblies. The company participated in the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program to help institute training programs in the concepts of lean manufacturing and the 5-S program.
