The Robotic Industries Association (RIA) has named Genesis Systems Group, Davenport, IA, a certified robot integrator. Genesis is the eighth company to receive the designation since RIA introduced the certification program in January 2012.
Yarde Metals, headquartered in Southington, CT, and with 16 U.S. locations, has earned AS9100:2009 Rev. C certification, the quality-management system certification for the aerospace and defense industries. Rev. C focuses specifically on customer satisfaction and quality by emphasizing risk management and mitigation, supply-chain management controls, and planning and project management. Yarde Metals supplies aluminum, brass and carbon- and stainless-steel sheet, plate, tube, pipe, rod and bar.
Punch, die and shear-blade manufacturer American Punch Co., Cleveland, OH, has been recertified to ISO 9001:2008. The firm also supplies precision die components to metal stampers and rollformers.
