Utah Steel Processor Orders New Leveler Line
July 1, 2008Comments Braner USA, Schiller Park, IL, has received an order from Reliance Steel to design and manufacture a hydraulic cassette leveler, servo roll feed and high-speed cut-to-length shear for its Reliance MetalCenter in Salt Lake City, UT.
The 300-hp leveler will be equipped with two interchangeable cassettes for leveling material from 72-in.-wide by 24-gauge sheet to 5/16-in.-thick plate of 90,000-psi hot-rolled carbon steel.
