Advanced, Automatic Plate Storage and Processing

Tecoi USA, Longview, TX, has developed the Stocktec automatic plate storage and processing system to help fabricators improve overall productivity, by reducing operation time and expanding material-storage capacity. The independent tray system is designed to store and promptly dispense material based on production needs.

Stocktec setups work well with all Tecoi large-format plate-processing machines, as well as with nearly all such systems. They combine automated material handling with large-format plate cutting (plasma, laser and oxyfuel), and machining. The automated system includes a lift that sends trays to preassigned destinations in the storage tower; storage capacity is 25 tons of material/tray. Equipped with a Fanuc CNC, the system efficiently tracks stock and remnants.
