Combilift features the Combi-AGT is a four-wheel electric stand-on model, developed by Combilift’s automation team. It reportedly is the world’s first autonomous dual-operational sideloader for long loads, and is designed to operate in narrow aisles. With a lift capacity of 11,000 lb., it addresses the requirements of steel service centers and metal industries. The Combi-AGT is equipped with laser-based sensors to create an anti-collision safety system. When the sensors detect an obstacle in the truck's path, the machine automatically will slow down, and come to a stop in case of an emergency. Once the obstacle is no longer in the sensor's range, it automatically will resume driving. It also features a new load-dimension detection system that uses a laser scan to verify that the length of the load matches the task assigned to the machine. Additionally, when unloading, it checks that the front rack has enough free space to accommodate the load.
Also featured, the fully electric Combi-CB 155E, a compact 15,500-lb.-capacity counterbalance forklift. Its compact size and sideways-movement capability ease maneuvering through tight spaces while transporting long steel billets, metal bars and other steel products. The Combi-CB155E is equipped with Independent Traction, eliminating long-load momentum twisting when traveling sideways. To reduce driver strain, it also features a gas strut suspension cab, and an Auto Swivel seat, which automatically swivels the seat and armrest 15 deg. to the right or left following the direction of travel.
