Sixteen-Axis Wire Former with Attachment Arm

RK Trading USA, a supplier of spring formers, coilers, reels and grinders, has debuted the CSX-20-series wire former with AT attachment arm. The 16-axis servo machine features a 3D rotating tooling attachment in front of the wire line, removable optional attachments, and a portable bolt-on forming station, in addition to standard CSX-series features. Users can manufacture parts in small or large quantities, and even prototypes, using the same machine, with the same programming.

The wire former offers a wire range of 0.016 to 0.080 in., and its AT attachment front arm allows a wider range of finished forms and double torsion springs to be made start-to-finish on one machine. Machine features also include simple setup as well as versatility via eight servo-driven slides, full wire-rotation capability, rotary quill and the ability to add optional single- and dual-axis servo spinners. Another feature: the EA second-hook finishing station.
