Fibro shows its electronic tapping unit, which incorporates advances in servo technology and process control and enables production stampers to increase productivity and efficiency. With a thread range of M0.8-M24 and capability of reaching production speeds exceeding 140 strokes/min., the unit can meet the specific requirements of production stampers. Whether mounted directly in the production-stamping tool or as a value-added offline workstation, it enables optimized throughput. Ten programs per control unit, which regulates as many as six independent drives, allow for unrestricted programming of the process parameters as well as data storage for operational reporting. Also at the booth: a wireless pressure-monitoring system for nitrogen gas springs in stamping dies.
