Synergy Amongst Engineered-Fastener Manufacturers
August 1, 2011CommentsPSM International, Newberry, SC, a manufacturer of specially engineered fasteners including brass inserts for injection-molded plastics as well as self-clinching and riveting fasteners, has acquired UK-based BAS Components. BAS, with a U.S. technical center in Youngstown, OH, manufactures proprietary Flangeform fasteners as well as weld nuts and other cold-formed components, and automatic feeding systems for integration into press lines and robotic cells. PSM will relocate its North America Technical Center to Youngstown.
