October 8, 2024Comments
Drew Allen is president and CEO of electrical safety-device manufacturer Grace Technologies, whose product catalog has expanded into permanent electrical safety devices (PESDs) and GraceSense IIoT smart sensor devices. Allen has bachelor's degrees in International Business and Marketing from Augustana College, Rock Island, IL, and graduated from Loyola University at Chicago’s Next Generation Leadership Program and the University of Wisconsin’s Transition to Executive Leadership Program. In 2020 he received the National Association of Manufacturers’ 2020 Next-Generation Leadership Award.
“We don’t have to invent the future, it’s already here and we need to find it," Allen says. "There are trends in place that we’re not necessarily ready to respond to. The workforce changes we’ve seen is not only losing factory floor workers but also losing engineers, a large subset of technology expertise.”
Technologies: Management, Sensing/Electronics/IOT
