Multifaceted Plunger Probe

Balluff will show its plunger probe—a self-contained, multi-purpose electromechanical actuator that can be tuned to actuate with light, medium or heavy actuation triggers. The device is breathable, allowing fluid to escape through a weep port for cleaning, and it can be rebuilt if any components become damaged, making it suitable for automation applications, including welding and stamping.

The plunger probe was designed for harsh-duty, direct-contact applications. Mated with a Balluff M8 sensor, the device offers 30 mm of over-travel, finely tuned to trip at any point.
