Petersen Aluminum Corp., Elk Grove Village, IL, a manufacturer of metal roofing panels, has installed new slitting lines at its facilities in Acworth, GA and Tyler, TX. Both lines, from Red Bud (IL) Industries, process prepainted material and boast low passlines and a small footprint, avoiding the need for costly foundation work.
