Larson Tool & Stamping Collaborates With PMA on Training Resources
August 23, 2019Comments
Larson Tool & Stamping Company, Attleboro, MA, recently collaborated with the Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) to develop a catalog of online training courses specific to the metal forming industry. Larson Tool President Chuck Cederberg, who serves on PMA’s educational committee, helped lead the effort to develop a platform that best meets the needs of metal formers, leading to the launching of METALFORM EDU.
METALFORM EDU, an online training program, helps companies enhance their talent pipeline by providing them access to highly focused, on-demand training. The program features more than 100 industry-specific courses on subjects including onboarding, press operation, die setting, CNC, and much more.
Larson now utilizes the online program for its own operations and can specify which courses will be best suited for a new-hire—providing specific training for entry-level courses and adding additional courses and training as the employee advances.
