Trumpf Training Earns Certification for Student Veterans
February 1, 2016Comments
Trumpf, Farmington, CT, has announced that its Farmington training center has been approved by the State Approving Agency (SAA) of the Connecticut Office of Higher Education to train eligible Veterans Affairs (VA) educational beneficiaries.
The SAA approval stems from a rigorous application process followed by a site survey of Trumpf’s training facilities, according to company officials. With this certification, the training center reportedly becomes the first and only center in the machine-tool industry that is both International Association for Continuing Education and Training-certified and certified by the SAA to train eligible veterans. Since tuition is covered by the VA education-assistance program, veterans now have the opportunity to enroll in Trumpf sheetmetal-fabricating-machinery and industrial-laser training courses and earn continuing-education credits at no cost to them.
