PMA Educational Foundation Accepting Scholarship Applications
February 19, 2025Comments
The Precision Metalforming Association Educational Foundation (PMAEF), in partnership with 15 PMA districts, is accepting scholarship applications from high school students and others pursuing careers in the metal forming industry. Deadline to apply: March 16, 2025.
“Manufacturing offers outstanding career opportunities, yet companies in our industry continue to cite attracting, training and retaining workers as a top challenge,” says PMA President David Klotz. “One of the ways that the PMAEF is addressing this challenge is through our scholarship program, which helps deserving individuals obtain the essential skills needed for careers in the industry.”
Scholarship applicants must be high school seniors and/or formally enrolled in a post-secondary metal forming/manufacturing/technology/engineering program; trades job training/apprenticeship; or a machining, CNC, tool and die, welding or stamping-certificate program at an accredited institution with 20 or more contact hours.
