Stamper Inaugurates Student-Intern Program
October 1, 2011CommentsThe McGregor Metalworking Companies, Springfield, OH, is addressing a skills gap in its region by developing an internship program with Springfield High School and its newly expanded STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) curriculum. The school has 320 students enrolled in its STEM Academy, five of which were placed as interns at McGregor in various areas of the business, including operations and engineering program management and economic analysis.
