NIMS Introduces CAM Skills Standards

The National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) has released the first-ever industry computer aided manufacturing (CAM) standards, defining the competencies and skills expected by industry for entry-level CAM positions. Developed under the guidance of Autodesk Inc., the standards will enhance education and training programs to meet demands for skilled CAM programmers, designers and engineers.
