Nashville to Host Women in Manufacturing Summit, Followed by 1st Annual Mfg/Suppliers Night

PMA is proud to sponsor the 6th annual Women in Manufacturing Summit, September 19-21, 2016, in Nashville, TN. This year’s theme is “MFGredefined,” and the agenda highlights all of the aspects of manufacturing that make it a top career choice for women. The program includes keynote presentations featuring speakers from Etsy Manufacturing, Coca-Cola Co., the U.S. Congress and more; roundtable discussions on industry topics; social events; and plant tours—General Motors, Bridgestone, Nissan or the Tennessee Bun Co. Immediately following the Summit, the PMA Tennessee District will host its 1st annual MFG/Suppliers Night, on September 22 at the Holiday Inn Nashville Airport. Suppliers and manufacturers from around the region will display the latest in metalforming technology. Exhibits open at 4 p.m.; at 7 p.m. attendees will hear a presentation on the R&D Tax Credit from Scott Schmidt of the Black Line Group.
