Tooling Tech Group Appoints New Director of Purchasing

Tooling Tech Group (TTG), Fenton, MI, a provider of highly engineered tools and automated assembly equipment, has appointed Dan Collings as its director of purchasing. He will be responsible for directing purchasing across all TTG divisions, while also overseeing buyers, integrating the firm’s ERP system across all of its companies, and implementing innovative purchasing solutions.  

Collings has spent 24 yr. working in positions of progressive purchasing responsibility in the automotive industry. He began his career as a buyer for several Detroit-area automotive suppliers, where he gained experience to later take on the roles of advanced purchasing manager and purchasing director.
