New Servo-Press Line at Clips & Clamps
August 10, 2020Comments Metal former Clips & Clamps Industries, Plymouth, MI, has added a new servo-press stamping line to its shop floor. The line features a 300-metric-ton Aida DSF-N2 servo press; Coe SpaceMaster Series 4 space-saving servo-powered feeder-straightener; and a Wintriss Smart Pac Pro Servo press-automation control. Installed by Midwest Press and Automation, Lansing, MI, the line will allow Clips & Clamps to run larger tools and process higher-strength materials, while increasing run rates and prolong tool life. The compact servo feeder increases feed accuracy, while reducing the line’s footprint by 21 ft. compared to a conventional feed line. And, the Smart Pac Pro Servo will allow for better communication and operator interface, according to Clips & Clamps officials.
