Walker Corp. Expands with Midwest Facility and Adds Big Press

Metal stamper and fabricator Walker Corp., Ontario, CA, has announced plans to open a new facility in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago during the second quarter of 2015. The facility will house two new stamping presses (330 and 550 ton), a full complement of smaller presses and will provide rollforming, fabricating, welding and assembly services.
Also, an 1100-ton 180-in.-bed Stamtec mechanical press is on the way to Walker Corp., slated for installation during the second quarter of 2015. Walker provides automotive and electronic stampings and assemblies.
