BTD Manufacturing Expands Its Metal Stamping Capabilities in the Southeast
October 6, 2020Comments BTD Manufacturing, Detroit Lakes, MN, has expanded its metal-stamping capacity and broadened its press offerings at its facility in Dawsonville, GA, by adding a new Komatsu 110-ton OBS mechanical press. The press features a 27.5 by 43.375-in. bolster, and a feed line with sheet-thickness capacity to 0.105 in. at 18 in. wide, and 0.165 in. by 6 in.
The addition of the new press comes on the heels of the installation of a new 300-ton stamping press, and the acquisition of a 70,000 sq.-ft. at BTD’s warehouse in Buford, GA. These significant commitments to the Southeast illustrate BTD’s resolve for growth in the region; www.btdmfg.com.
