Lantek, a Spain-based provider of manufacturing software systems with operations in Mason, OH, has announced a collaborative agreement with the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM) in Spain.

The agreement focuses on developing new models of applied mathematics and algorithms for the metal forming industry. As a starting point, the collaboration aims to develop an advanced algorithm for parts nesting.
